Receiver operating characteristic curves (ROC) of different cycles of NAC. After one cycle of NAC, the area under the ROC (AUC) for strain ratio (SR) to predict pCR was 0.685 (Az1, 95% CI: 0.594, 0.766) (blue solid line). After two cycles of NAC, AUC for the combination of SR2 and change in SR2 to predict pCR was 0.855 (Az2, 95% CI: 0.779, 0.912) (green dashed line). The value of Az2 was significantly higher than that of Az1 (P < .001)
