A woman received low-dose chest CT for the follow-up evaluation of a previously detected 8-mm ground-glass nodule in the left upper lobe. (A-C) Conventional low-dose chest CT images were reconstructed with iterative reconstruction, and (D-F) the images generated using a quarter dose of radiation were reconstructed with commercial deep-learning software. (A, D) Soft-tissue structures, including the aorta, subcutaneous fat, and paraspinal muscles, were visualized with a lower noise level in the mediastinal-window setting. (C, F) A ground-glass nodule in the left upper lobe was well visualized with a sharp margin on both images (arrow)
