Parathyroid adenoma below the inferior pole of the right lobe of thyroid. The right inferior parathyroid adenoma clearly represents the residual parathyroid sign. Nodule and the thyroid gland move relatively with swallowing (a, b). Abundant blood flow signals on CDFI (c). The nodule was negative on planar images and Tc-99m MIBI SPECT/CT (d, e). The pathological results showed parathyroid adenoma (mainly chief cells and eosinophils), and fibrous capsule formation could be seen with the surrounding normal parathyroid gland (f)
