This CT image refers to the same patient (F, 39Y) as Figure 3. Patchy GGO is seen in the posterior basal segment of the left lower lobe and the posterior basal segment of the right lower lobe. The right lung lesions are localized in the peripheral lung field adjacent to the subpleural region (short white arrow). The outermost edge of the left lung lesions is 3.7 mm from the subpleural areas, and there are visible air-filled bronchi (long white arrow) inside the lesion; the white arrowheads show that a vein in the lower left lung has penetrated the lesion.
