A old age patient was affected by SHPT. A dual-phase 99mTc-MIBI imaging was performed. Early and delayed phase imaging showed two enlarged parathyroid glands located superior the right thyroid glands (an arrow). 99mTc-MIBI SPECT/CT imaging depicting the biggest focus located superior the right thyroid gland. The histology confirmed the lesion was a parathyroid adenoma
