Black dots indicate locations of arterial Doppler sounds. After the cold challenge, some hot spots appear more rapidly and have a more profound rewarming. First appearing hot spots were associated with arterial Doppler sounds. The first appearing hot spots are marked with a cross and coincide with the location of an arterial Doppler sound. Some hot spots are located outside the quadrants and are not arising from the DIEA system. Only hot spots within the quadrants are marked
