Hierarchical algorithm structure. CDWT decomposition is applied to the pre-contrast and the post-contrast images. At each level the CDWT produces 6 bandpass subimages per image that are then used to estimate the motion field (MF). The estimation starts at the coarsest level and progresses to the finest level.
