Mean time in seconds from start of contrast injection to peak contrast enhancement in tendon, vessel and in the fat ventrally of the tendon in the symptomatic and contralateral ankle of 20 patients with chronic achilles tendinosis before and after three months of eccentric calf-muscle training. One standard deviation is provided within parenthesis. The p-value comparing time from start to peak contrast enhancement before and after three months of eccentric training has been noted. * = p < 0.05, NS = Not Significant.
