FDG PET/CT of a patient with suspected metastatic lung cancer. Maximum intensitiy projection image a showed primary lung cancer in the right lower lobe with extensive hilar, mediastinal, bilateral supraclavicular (arrow) and abdominal lymph node metastases. Small bone metastases e.g. in the left iliac bone with low metabolic activity were visible. In MR (not shown) multiple brain metastases were detected.
