The methods for measuring 18F-FDG uptake of the stomach and the liver. VOIs of 3D sphere were placed at the fornix, corpus and antrum of the stomach and the liver in each subject. SUVmax (shown as Max SUV-bw on MIP, fusion images and PET images) and SUVmean were determined in each VOI in the stomach, and SUVmean liver was determined in liver VOI. a A MIP image of a subject with H. pylori infection, VOI was placed to avoid the area just blow the diaphragm for preventing the motion blurring artifact.
