T-test of the mean absolute percentage error between intracranial volume estimates calculated by piecewise constant interpolation and cubic spline interpolation using coronal (purple graphs), sagittal (blue graphs) and transversal (black graphs) intracranial areas. For each orientation the mean and 95 percent confidence intervals are illustrated. Positive percentage errors indicate the improvements when using cubic spline interpolation compared to using piecewise constant interpolation and negative percentages the opposite.
