The R 1 as a function of time after Gd administration is shown for the 4 ROIs A, B, C and D, as indicated in slice 13a in Fig. 5. Both A and B are positioned in healthy myocardium, C and D are positioned in fibrotic myocardium. The error bars indicate the standard deviation inside the ROI of ~100 pixels. The dashed-dotted line is the reference R 1 = 1.2 ± 0.2 s-1 of myocardium, obtained before Gd injection.
